Terms of service
Last updated September 30, 2026
These terms cover your use of DenialKit, including the free tools, the Appeal Letter Template Pack, and the Pro plan. By using the site, you agree to them.
General information, not advice
DenialKit provides general billing information only. It is not legal, medical, or coding advice, and it doesn't replace your own professional judgment. Payer rules vary and change, so always confirm against the specific payer's policy before you submit a claim or appeal. We don't guarantee that any claim will be paid or any appeal approved.
AI appeal letters
Letters from the AI appeal letter writer are drafts. They can contain mistakes. Review and edit every letter before you use it, and check that it's accurate for your claim. You're responsible for what you send.
No patient information
Don't enter patient health information or other patient-identifying details anywhere on DenialKit. Fill in patient details only on your own computer or in your practice's systems.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. Don't share your account, try to get around plan limits, or use the site in a way that disrupts it for others (for example, automated scraping or overloading the NPI lookup). We may suspend accounts that do.
Pro plan
Pro costs $19 per month, billed in advance each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page (Manage billing). When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't give partial refunds for unused time. If we change the price, we'll email you before it affects your next bill.
Template pack license
One purchase of the Appeal Letter Template Pack covers everyone at one practice or billing company. You may edit the letters and use them for your own appeals as often as you like. You may not resell them or share the files publicly.
Refund policy
Appeal Letter Template Pack: if the templates aren't what you expected, ask us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Pro: cancel anytime to stop future charges. If you were charged in error, or something on our end kept you from using Pro, let us know and we'll make it right.
The site itself
The content, design, and code of DenialKit belong to us. Denial code explanations are our own original writing; official code descriptions belong to their publishers, and we link to them instead of copying them. NPI data comes from the public NPPES registry and may be out of date.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like denied claims or lost revenue, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know by email. See also our privacy policy.
